Communication between school and home is essential to academic success.
We want to provide pertinent information with regard to procedures, rules, regulations, and policies at Adler Elementary. We hope the following information and the information that each staff member provides will enhance the effectiveness, academics, and operations of our school.
School Hours
School Office Hours : 8:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Parents and visitors are required to stop in the office to sign-in when arriving and check-out when exiting the building. Voicemail and email are also available for each staff member.

Student Attendance
Students who have good attendance are more likely to achieve higher grades. Students who are on time each day and are not dismissed early will not miss important instruction.
Absence from school disrupts the learning process, not only for the student absent but also interferes with the progress of those students in attendance. Please comply with the policy of the Southfield Public Schools and the State of Michigan compulsory attendance laws.
Communication
Parent-teacher communication is important to a child's success. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's teacher for information vital to academic achievement and if there are concerns or questions. We expect parents to visit their child's classroom and offer assistance when possible. A school calendar, newsletters, and written announcements are sent home during the school year.
